On superyacht SAVANNAH, you cannot help but make an entrance. Approaching the stern in the yacht’s tender, you climb the low, wide stairs of the open transom to the beach club, where the 30-foot infinity pool runs down the aft deck like a blue-green runway before dropping away to endless views of sea and sky. Sugar-white sofas and deckchairs line the pool on both sides, leading to a spectacular circular lounge area that can be rendered either indoors or outdoors courtesy of vast curved sections of removable glass.
Another superb example of indoor-outdoor entertaining is on the Upper deck, where a large circular dining table becomes either part of the alfresco deck space or the upper salon, depending on large sliding sections of glass. It is hard to overestimate the visual impact of this dining area, with its majestic light feature and moody, theatrical vibe. Up on the sundeck, an oversize Jacuzzi pool sits among sunpads, a firepit glows, and soft lounges provide the perfect vantage point high above the water.
Unfettered by decades of marine tradition, relative yachting newcomers CG Designs ripped up the yacht design rule book on SAVANNAH, sacrificing straight lines for a spectacular open plan layout full of high drama and beguiling curves. Nowhere wows more than the master suite, with its space-age bed sitting against a curved golden backdrop, under an oval skylight of epic proportions.
Other highlights include the exquisite rosewood spiral staircase, a stunning VIP stateroom with balcony, and the Nemo Lounge: the superyacht world’s first underwater viewing lounge, where plush cinema chairs sit low beneath the waterline. This room also functions as a cinema, and there’s an additional ‘secret lounge’ located far inside the bow of the yacht to enjoy the sensation of the waves in wild weather. SAVANNAH also has a gym, hammam, spa with a masseuse and beautician, and an elevator. SAVANNAH accommodates up to 12 guests in six deck-level staterooms, comprising an upper deck master, VIP suite, two doubles and two twins, and runs with a crew of 24.
