Villa Maison de la Mer aka 'sea house’ was created by fusing together three existing villas, resulting in one very large villa for the true beachfront vacation experience. The swimming pool and terrace are raised just a little above the sand to afford privacy for guests when swimming or sunbathing, while the outdoor living room, set just behind, boasts gorgeous ocean views and a big sectional sofa for gathering together. There is an alfresco dining area here too, covered yet outside and connecting through to the internal kitchen.
The indoor setup for Maison de la Mer is a little different to the norm as there is no internal living room, just the large covered one outside. This makes the kitchen and attached dining room the chief place to gather inside, perhaps while preparing a lovely meal in the chef’s kitchen.
Four of the seven bedrooms are Masters. These are individually designed spacious retreats with their own seating areas, ensuite bathrooms, and breathtaking ocean views to wake to each morning at Maison de la Mer. There are two on the main level, with two above, and the upper Masters also boast their own private terraces. The two guest, or perhaps children’s bedrooms, are on the main level behind the kitchen without a view, and the seventh bedroom is set apart, above the entrance, making this good for older children.
